John Fatcheric has served as our Town Supervisor since 2022. He was born and raised in Syracuse in the West End/Tipp Hill neighborhood where he graduated from Christian Brothers Academy and S.U.N.Y. Cobleskill. John moved to Camillus in 1982 and has been a proud resident for the past 41 years.
John is a no nonsense, straight forward leader. No concern is too big or too small. This approach has paid many dividends for the community in both savings and efficiency. He identifies the Town's needs and finds solutions in a fiscally responsible manner. John believes in team work, and consequently, three collective bargaining unit negotiations were finalized in his first term. A new and improved employee health insurance program has been implemented, and he started the Hometown Hero Veterans Banner Program in support of local Veterans. Through John's strategic planning, the Camillus Senior Center recently received a grant award in the amount of $100,000 for capital improvement and other projects from Onondaga County.
On November 7th of this year, John would be humbled to receive your vote which will allow him, and the Town Board, to work together for a open and transparent town government. John is uniquely and whole heartedly committed to working toward a better Camillus to improve your quality of life while building a promising future for our next generation.

John Petosa has been your Town Justice for 12 years presiding over 20,000 cases. John is a licensed and practicing Attorney and Certified Public Accountant, with an undergraduate degree in accounting and economics from Boston College and a law degree from Syracuse University. In addition to his law and accounting practice, John is a Professor of Practice at Syracuse University teaching business law, tax law and various business classes. He is also on the Board of Directors of Solvay Bank. He has served on many local, not for profit boards including presently the Jon Diaz Community Center founded by Latavius Murray. He was formerly the CFO and general counsel for Deli-Boy Inc. John uses all of his experiences to evaluate the cases before him and be a fair and impartial Judge.
The Court in Camillus hears many different cases from traffic matters to criminal issues and civil claims including evictions. Court is Thursday's at 4:00pm. He is excited to continue his service to our community and respectfully requests the honor of your vote.
Paul is the Highway Superintendent and landfill Supervisor for the Town of Camillus, NY since January 1, 2015. He has an Associate Degree from Alfred State College - 1983 and is a Certified Professional in Erosion Sediment Control (CPESC) and a Certified Professional in Stormwater Quality (CPSWQ) and is the Vice Chairman for the CNY Stormwater Coalition. He also has Professional Registrations from the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies, Highway Design - 1990 ( NICET) and American Traffic Safety Services Association - Certified Work Site Traffic Supervisor (ATTSA), and is a past member of the American Public Works Association (APWA) and New York Water Environment Association, Inc. (NYWEA).
Mary has been your 1st Ward Councilor since 2020. She is proud to be a life-long republican and has resided in the Town of Camillus for 47 years. Mary is employed at the Onondaga County Board of Election where she manages all personnel, fiscal, and several other election activities. Mary was a past President of The Friends of Camillus Park a not-for-profit organization that has worked hand in hand with the Town to revitalize Camillus Park. Presently Mary is the chairperson of the Public Works committee. She has been a member of the Personnel, Public Safety, Parks and Recreation and the Planning & Zoning committees.
Michael La Flair has served the Town of Camillus since 2012. He holds a MBA from Le Moyne college. He has held senior level positions in various private, non-profit and government entities and also serves on the Board's of many local and NYS agencies. Mike brings this unique perspective to the Town Council. "I see myself as a facilitator for the resident's of the 2nd Ward and I enjoy the day to day interactions with them, whether its an issue they are facing, or just simply looking for an update on neighborhood concerns."

Steve James resides at 116 Feldspar Drive. He is married to Jennifer James and has three daughters: Erica, Meredith and Mollie.
Steve and his wife teach in the Onondaga Central School District, he teaches middle school Social Studies and Jennifer teaches Spanish. Jennifer also currently serves on the Board of Education for the West Genesee School District. He is a 1987 graduate of West Genesee, holds a Bachelors of Arts in History from SUNY Potsdam, a Masters if Science in Education from SUNY Cortland and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Education Administration from LeMoyne College.
Steve is very active in the community. He is a member of Holy Family Parish where he has coached basketball for many years. He has also been a volunteer coach in the Camillus Youth Basketball Association, WOYSA, Camillus Youth Softball and Baseball Organization and most recently in the West Genesee Men’s Basketball Program. He was a volunteer in the West Genesee Save Modified Sports Program, served on the West Genesee Board of Education, and is an active member of the Solvay-Geddes-Camillus Kiwanis Club.
Steve has served as the 4th Ward Councilman. Some of his accomplishments are pushing through the rental property law regulating absentee landlords, chairing the deer management committee and chairing the Public Works Committee.

Matt Mahoney has lived in Camillus in Orchard Village since he and his wife Lisa were married over 25 years ago. They have raised two children (Emily and Brian) who both graduated from West Genesee High School and are currently attending college in New York State.
Matt grew up on the west side of Syracuse as the youngest of nine children. He graduated from CBA and received a Mechanical Engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY
Matt has worked for Crouse Hospital for over 30 years. He is currently a manager in the IT department overseeing the network administration, information security, telecommunications and infrastructure teams.
Matt is very active at St. Joseph’s Church – serving as a Lector, Eucharistic Minister and former Confirmation teacher. He currently serves on the Board of the Syracuse MetroNet, a consortium of educational, governmental, and health care institutions.
